RockferryLife started when the founder, Linden, had to reinvent herself after a childhood dream and career was lost to a long & arduous industry strike followed by a recession. She fell back on her Communications & Arts degree. Remembering her Italian roots, specifically her grandfather, and his love for music & art and his skill of forging a sterling silver bracelet for his 10 year old daughter out of the scraps from working at a housewares company, Linden was inspired looking through her heirloom jewel-box.

To this day, the sterling silver bracelet given to her by her mom, which still fits, surprisingly, was just enough inspiration to motivate Linden to venture into something she never tried before—designing and crafting vintage inspired jewelry. She’ll always remember the baubles from an era, like other people around the world want to remember, and wear again. It spoke of simpler times, tradition, values, and the detailed craftsmanship of generations who honored these classics.
